Dr. Perry streamlines practice workflow to upgrade his analogue systems.
Dr Perry faced a dilemma: How can he upgrade his aging analogue system to high definition for more accurate diagnosis in his practice without the cost and headache of replacing all of his cameras? Fortunately, Visionflex CEO Mike Harman had developed the perfect solution.
“I’ve been working with Mike and the team for over 15 years and once again, they’ve come up with terrific technology which is the perfect solution for my needs.” Dr Perry said.
“All of my older cameras now connect to the ProEX hubs in each of my rooms providing me with excellent quality images. I would recommend the team to anyone considering upgrading their camera technology or archiving systems.”
The Australian made ProEX is the simplest way to future-proof imaging equipment as it was designed to support a wide range of probes, accessories and light sources via Bluetooth, HDMI, USB, DVI, CVBS & S-Video inputs.
As with many Ear Nose Throat (ENT) specialists in his field, Dr Perry wanted to streamline his practice workflow by linking his equipment in multiple rooms to his Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. The VF-Sync server enables multiple ProEX Telehealth Hubs to be networked to a central repository, in this case, Genie. All patient data, images and videos are encrypted to comply with HIPAA requirements and are made available to any ProEX or PC on the same network.
So, while the state-of-the-art telehealth capability of the ProEX has taken the spotlight lately, we here at Visionflex sometimes forget that Mike Harman, Peter Shandley, and the team originally set out to solve a problem. Why should their customers have to discard costly and perfectly capable equipment to take advantage of new capabilities and features? Well, now they don’t. With the ProEX Health it is easy to upgrade your analogue systems, streamline practice workflows and increase efficiency.
Visionflex is an Australian company focussed on connecting isolated patients to health services with cutting edge technology for fast diagnosis.
